Mast Brothers Chocolate
I’ll bet you don’t know something about Mast Brothers. But I’ll start with what you probably already do know: They are NYC’s only bean to bar artisan chocolate maker…meaning they cover the whole process on site in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I’ll bet that you can guess that the company really does consist of two brothers making their batches from scratch. And if you’ve ever tasted the results, you can surely guess that their cacao comes only straight from small family farms ranging from Madagascar to Ecuador. But I bet you didn’t know that instead of being limited to selling their chocolates through select outlets like Park Slope Food Coop or Urban Rustic, you can now visit them in person at their new weekend-only retail store at 105 North 3rd St between Berry St and Wythe Ave. And yes, they’ll be selling their entire line of specialty chocolates, so come make the worthwhile trek!
